Eagle Owls are the oldest children in the school. They are taught by Miss Ojelade (who is also Head of School) for half of the week and Mrs Fowler for the remainder of the week. Like all the other classes the children learn through a Challenge Curriculum. The children take ownership of their learning and strive to achieve their best.
The children in Eagle Owls have the opportunity to visit France for a biannual residential and also Northumberland. The children’s curriculum is enhanced by educational visits. Just as the other classes the children have a Floor Book which showcases the wider curriculum and other experiences the children receive during the school year.
As part of the curriculum the children receive, they also have a term of Forest Schools and half a term of swimming.
The class are also supported by Miss Sedgwick and Mrs Le Fleming
NHS Thank You Poems- The children wrote rainbow poems as part of their home learning to thank all those that work in the NHS.
Graffiti Artists- The children were asked to research the work of graffiti artists such as Banksy and Keith Haring. They had to decide whether they thought graffiti was art or vandalism. Here are some of their persuasive texts and art work.
