Hello my name is Julie Rose and I am your Parent Support Adviser for; Weasenham, Rudham and Brisley Hope Federation Primary Academy Schools. My role is to support you as parents and carers to help you and your children gain as much as possible from their school life.
Parenting isn’t an easy job and at times things can get tough. I will be available to help you deal with any worries or concerns that you may have about your child and to help you tackle any home issues that are making school life really difficult for you and your family. If I cannot help you, I can refer you to specialist agencies or support services if you wish.
I am a registered Occupational Therapist (HCPC) and I also work at Verbatim Therapy based at Pensthorpe near Fakenham. My previous work experience has been involved in supporting children who have additional needs and supporting them to overcome specific barriers to learning within mainstream education. I have supported children and adolescents who have had emotional and traumatic histories and behavioural difficulties. I will be available each week on Monday mornings and all day Friday during termtime. In the first instance please speak to your Head of School, if you would like any further support and advice from myself.
